I was quickened by the Holy Spirit this morning about the importance of being mindful as to what's going on in the natural. Sometimes we can be so caught up in the spiritual realm that we are not observant to what's happening around us. Even as I write this message, a signpost flashed before my eyes. I was taken back to an experience where I missed a turn because I failed to notice the sign. Obviously, the purpose of this mind vision was simply to reiterate the importance of this message. Please, take heed and don't miss it.

It's amazing to see gas prices continuing to soar. People are greatly affected by this. I remember reading an excerpt from a consumer report that stated gas prices have been consistently higher. The unrest and turmoil of society continue to escalate. People are finding themselves having to make adjustments. The things and places that were once viewed as a necessity are now being re-evaluated. Do I really need this? Do I really need to go there? Are there other options to produce power/energy? It's about changes. Everything seems to be changing. Wow, doesn't the fact that God never changes become even more exceptional. Praise God.

There's an astounding message written in 2 Samuel 24:24: Then the king said Araunah, "No, but I will surely buy it from you for a price; nor will I offer burnt offerings to the LORD my God with that which costs me nothing." So David bought the threshing floor and the oxen for fifty shekels of silver. Here, David chose not to take the easy way out. He was willing to pay the full price. What about you? Don't miss it! The anointing is going to cost you something. I'm challenging you to look beyond monetary value for a moment and mull over other areas where it may cost you. Is it your action? Is it your decision? The point here is that there is a cost associated.

The analogy of today's fuel prices equates so well with the cost of God's anointing. At this point, allow me to make the correlation between the two. The hike in the price of fuel has affected folks in many ways such as pursuing vacations closer to home, reducing errands to as needed, searching for lowest fuel prices, trading over-sized vehicles for economy vehicles, utilizing other means for travel, etc. All these variations are personal choices and not mandated. The reason people make such choices is to increase their ability. The same principle applies to the anointing. If your desire is to strengthen your gift, it's going to cost you something. Are you willing to stop settling for mediocrity? Can you separate yourself from the things that are not faith builders? There is a reason why Romans 12:6 stresses the fact that our gifts work according to the proportion of our faith. Apostle Paul knew that the anointing comes with a price.

Often times I'm stunned by what people desire of the Lord but in return aren't willing to give up certain things. As they mature spiritually, somehow they tend to think their level of commitment should remain the same. They want the dunamis power at the same price as when they were babes. This is similar to expecting the same amount of mileage at today's prices as compared to when fuel was much cheaper. It's not realistic.

I hear the Spirit of the Lord say- It's time to think soberly. It's time to bring forth your best to the table. It's time to bring forth your best to the altar. Allow your worship to become costly for you. Allow your praise to come with a cost. It's time to step away from mediocrity and move into higher expectations. It's only fitting to give your best. I say to you- those who are willing to pay the price will increase in faith and see the manifestation within the operation of their gifts. Do not fret to lessen your inventory. These are the things that are setting forth limits to your faculties. These are the things that are placing ceilings to your gifting. Take the limits off and see the faithfulness of God.

Today, I was given a vision. There was a straight road and at the end of the road was Jesus Himself and along the sides of the street was a variety of entertainment. There were neon lights and other decor set in place to capture the attention of the travelers. Now, what possibly could this mean? Hang on, you'll see.

Isn't it interesting to see how Jesus was worshipped in the midst of a Pharisee? (see Luke 7:35-50) Keep in mind that the Pharisees represented a large religious group who were about keeping the law. Because they were self-righteous that opened the door to a judgmental attitude. This type of lifestyle does not portray the characteristics of Jesus. So, why would Jesus willingly go sit down with such a person? I really wanted to know, so I inquired of the Lord who in turn stated that it was important to show what true worship was all about.

When you are a true worshiper, you are not going to be hindered because of your surroundings. Could these hindrances symbolize the entertainment referenced in the opening paragraph? I believe so. If you prefer, call them distractions. These are the neon lights and other decor that cause you to pull over from your journey and observe. Sadly, many people dwell in this place because it's feeding the "soul". This is where our mind, feelings, desires, moods, will, decisions, etc. reside. Too often, this is where man falls and becomes separated from God. By the way, Pharisee means "separate."

As a true worshiper, you will bypass the religious, the spectators, and the negative talkers. You will pass through the distractions (Pharisees) that tend to separate you from God. You will remain steadfast because your eyes are focused on the end of the road where Jesus awaits. What's at stake for you? Is it humiliation? Is it fear of man? As for me, neither applies. I have come to know that it's not about fearing man but reaching a Man!

Let's take a look at the biblical scene again. It's amazing to see how the woman pursued Jesus regardless to what others might have said about her. She was willing to push through these distractions for the purpose of reaching Jesus. It wasn't about dignity but worship! A point to learn here is that your action toward Jesus will display the condition of your heart. Heed the spoken word:

"There are many people who truly love Me but are unable to bypass the distractions on their way to Me. They are willing to listen to the voice of the enemy as well being drawn by the lust of the eyes. They do love Me, but, oh, how easy it is for distractions to overwhelm them. The enemy has met My beloved ones where they are and I see them conversing with him instead of rebuking him. My heart breaks for the love of My people. I called for watchmen to sound the alarm and many did but many didn't. Today, I'm looking for the mature to speak out to a chosen generation with power and demonstration. Come forth and teardown the wall of distraction that's enticing the will of man. My children must continue to pursue Me with a heart that is not divided."

Imagine walking around days, weeks, months, or even years with a large bag of rocks on your back. The bag exceeds your overall weight capacity. It takes every breath and all the might you have to make a single step. Each move appears to be your last. Sweat and anguish are shown upon your brow. "I got it" has become your rally outcry; yet, every step is like sinking deeper in quicksand. Your posture is no longer upright. You find yourself bent over as if you are signifying symptoms of osteoporosis. "Quickly, can someone call the doctor? I believe my bones have decayed from improper nutrients." Truly, your self-diagnosis was correct. The physician confirms the infirmity- "I'm sorry to inform you that due to your lack of proper nutrients during your younger years has developed a common case of osteoporosis in your latter years."

The above statements are for visual purposes only. Is that the way to live a joyful life or is it robbing you of life? I don't believe it meets the standard of the words spoken by our Good Shepherd, Jesus Christ- "... I have come that they may have life, and they may have it more abundantly." John 10:10 in its totality tells us the intent of our enemy. Satan's goal is to steal, kill, and destroy. He wants to ultimately break you down.

In my mind's eye, I can visualize an assembly line in a manufacturing facility. The line is full of rocks, varying in sizes, on a conveyer belt. At the end of the line, there's a bag to catch the moving rocks. The bag is held up by a support structure which happens to be one of God's children. "More rocks," shouts Satan's crew. As the enemy increased the conveyer speed, more rocks begin to fill the bag quickly. The support structure continues to buckle under pressure until he or she is bent over from the weight.

11 And behold, there was a woman who had a spirit of infirmity eighteen years, and was bent over and could in no way raise herself up. 12 But when Jesus saw her, He called her to Him and said to her, "Woman, you are loosed from your infirmity." 13 And He laid His hands on her, and immediately she was made straight, and glorified God. (Luke 13:11-13)

What a word of comfort to find that the woman was made straight. How bad do you want it? How bad do you want to be made straight again or do you want to continue to walk bent over with infirmities in likeness to osteoporosis? Do not allow your circumstances to define you. Cry out to God for help. You have heard what our God can do and your faith should be exploding. Remember, faith comes by hearing; so, you have heard and now shout out to God. Don't worry about who is around you or looking at you. If this is your hold up, then you don't want it bad enough.

35 Then it happened, as He was coming near Jericho, that a certain blind man sat by the road begging. 36 And hearing a multitude passing by, he asked what it meant. 37 So they told him that Jesus of Nazareth was passing by. 38 And he cried out, saying, "Jesus, Son of David, have mercy on me!" 39 Then those who went before warned him that he should be quiet; but he cried out all the more, "Son of David, have mercy on me!" 40 So Jesus stood still and commanded him to be brought to Him. And when he had come near, He asked him, 41 saying, "What do you want Me to do for you?" He said, "Lord, that I may receive my sight." 42 Then Jesus said to him, "Receive your sight; your faith has made you well." 43 And immediately he received his sight, and followed Him, glorifying God. And all the people, when they saw it, gave praise to God. (Luke 18:35-43)

Despite being warned to keep silent, the blind man shouted that much more. He wanted something and heard that the Restorer was within his midst. It didn't matter what others said, whispered, or tried to do to him; he had made up within his mind- I WILL NOT be passed by. His determination paid out for him. His sight was restored. Peter teaches us that God's word is "spiritual food"; therefore, we have no reason to suffer from lack of spiritual nutrients. It's time to strengthen your bones with the Word of Truth. Jesus said that you shall know the truth and the truth shall make you free (John 8:32). Now, that you know, and in the words of my Savior- "YOU ARE LOOSED FROM YOUR INFIRMITY!" I say to you, "be free!"

I challenge you to fasten together every infirmity that is causing a break-down in your health or right standing with God. Cast them away from you. I summon you to decree and declare the word of God that you are loosed from the enemy's entrapments. I release that the word of God will unfold every scheme the adversary has plotted. I pronounce to you that the Light will comprehend the darkness and your vision shall be clearer than noonday and shine forth as the morning. I proclaim that you have regained your posture and you are now lifted up.

Beloved, you are complete and equipped. (2 Timothy 3:16-17)

Have you ever gone through a drought in your life where nothing seems to be producing? At your breaking point, you cried out: "God, where is the rain?" I want to share a revelation that the Holy Spirit recently revealed.

Rain is symbolic of a heavenly downpour and when turned on things grow or produce. It's a necessity; otherwise, things can become weak to the point of dying. I pray that this message will inspire and prepare you for a cloudburst.

If we take a look at the manner in which God triggered the condensed moisture of the atmosphere, we can see the code in which He used to loose precipitation on earth. This becomes the encryption in bringing transformation. It sets forth a process that will work if adhered to.

We see that God formed man out of pre-existing material (Gen. 2:7) that stemmed from the ground in which he was assigned to cultivate; however, the Lord God had not sent rain upon the earth (Gen. 2:5). In the next verse, you can see that something changed. There was a "shift" that caused heaven to respond. Are you ready for this? You are about to break open the code that brings forth the rain in your life. Prepare for growth!

In Genesis 2:6 (NASB), it states: "But a mist used to rise from the earth and water the whole surface of the ground." Here, we see ascension from earth to heaven and not from heaven to earth; therefore, the ground activated what was needed. A vapor rose from God's creation that went back to the Father and heaven responded.

Are you waiting on God or is God waiting on you? That is truly the question. As for me, it's the latter part. God is waiting for his creation to send forth a vapor (worship) that will cause Him to respond. The droplets of rain could be just worships away. I'm quickly reminded that it took a prophet to hear the sound of rain from a period of drought; therefore, as a prophet of God I say to you- "I hear the abundance of rain! It's time for worship. It's time to activate the heavens."

I hear the Spirit of the Lord say- "many are waiting for the heavenly downpour and crying out to Me- God, where are you and I'm responding to them where are you? Don't be deceived into thinking that I have turned away from you or chose not to listen. I hear ever prayer that you released with faith but My children must understand that they are in a season of activation. You can have what you say if it's aligned with My will. I say to you don't just expect but activate. The words are in your mouth to see the manifestation of My faithfulness."

There is an awakening that is coming, that is coming forth not only in sound but in trembling. There will be a fear of the Lord that will sprout forth like flowers blooming in the midst of a dry place. The awakening will stir up the spiritual senses that will be manifested in the natural through the act of faith and obedience to My word. It will leave a residue that will become a permanent landmark that there has been an encounter with the Holy God. I will sound out of the mouths of the silent with a voice and word that will shake loose everything that's holding captive those who belong to Me. The earth will no longer be unattended but will be cared for by servants and warriors that have been discharged for such a task. There will be a radiant light that will shine like a beacon-torch and welcome the ones who hunger to taste and see My glory. Many say that the day is coming, but I say to you that day has arrived for those who reach out by faith and grab hold to the revelation in which the Holy Spirit releases from My mind.
